Rancho Cucamonga, California —— Nothing is better than a home run… or three. We’ll have quite a bit of video, a few interviews, and a half-dozen scouting reports from our time last night with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (Los Angeles Dodgers) and San Jose Giants (San Francisco Giants), but for now, here’s a quick thing: three homers from Monday night’s game!

DJ Peters (the Dodgers’ 19th ranked prospect) and Drew Jackson (18th) both hit long homers last night in a rout of San Jose; here’s their home run swing video and GIF mechanics:

As a bonus, we’ve also got the home run swing from last night of San Jose Giants 1B/3B Jose Vizcaino, Jr. Here’s that video, and a GIF look at his swing mechanics on a homer to left field, too:

Like I mentioned, we’ll get quite a few scouting reports and a couple feature interviews up over the next week for both Dodgers and Giants prospects from this series and others we’ve seen so far this spring. Stay tuned for all that, or follow us on Twitter (@BaseballCensus) to get more videos, GIFs, and up-to-the-moment stuff as we’re out on site for various games around the Cal League, the Pacific Coast League, and elsewhere.
